Lenovo has launched the Yoga 700 convertible laptop in 11.6" and 14" size options. While similar in looks, the two Yoga 700 offerings are quite different from one another, save from the 1080p resolution on their touch screens and trademark 4 working positions. The Yoga 700 14" is powered by a Skylake Intel Core i7 with Intel HD Graphics 520. An optional 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M can be added, too. The base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD, but you can opt in for a 256GB storage. The laptop weighs 1.6kg with a 4-cell Li-Polymer 45Wh battery. Lenovo has equipped the Yoga 700 with 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 (also used for charging), a card reader and an HDMI-out. Stereo speakers and Wi-Fi 802.11ac round up the package. As for the 11" Yoga 700, it's quite less powerful with an Intel Core m3 CPU and Intel HD Graphics 515. The smaller 40Wh battery has made it lighter at 1.1kg. The 11" Yoga 700 comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as standard. There's also just a single USB 3.0 port and micro-HDMI port. Lenovo is pricing the 11" Yoga 700 at $649, while the larger 14" model costs $799. Sales commence from next month. Source |...
